SINOVATE Monthly Report: October 2020

SINOVATE (SIN) experienced an exciting October packed with substantial development activity and exciting announcements. The highly anticipated AURORA Mainnet and Deterministic Infinity Node (DIN) 1.0 integration will go live at block height 550.000, marking the successful transition from the Dash legacy masternode code currently implemented by infinity nodes to the first of its kind, superior Deterministic Infinity Nodes DIN. codebase. Greater rewards for MINI Node owners, substantially increased stability, enhanced economic prosperity and much more will be available to network participants.

No major bugs were reported during the public testnet phase, which is a testament to the fantastic work conducted by our development team to create the most cutting-edge codebase available in the cryptocurrency sphere. The official AURORA mainnet go-live date will be announced shortly. Stay tuned to our discord and telegram channels for further details. Please stay at home, follow the rules, and most importantly stay safe.

SINOVATE celebrates 2nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to us! The SINOVATE Blockchain is now 2 years old. Since our inception on 29.09.2018, SINOVATE has made exceptional strides. Having begun as a pure Proof-of-Work (PoW) cryptocurrency with a time-lock feature, we have successfully transitioned into a masternode orientated project with unique coin burning capabilities via infinity nodes, providing low entry barriers and significant passive income for all network participants.

Better still, our custom-coded Deterministic Infinity Node (DIN) 1.0 codebase will pave the way for the release of our decentralized cloud storage solution Incorruptible Data Storage (I.D.S.), SIN Messenger (peer-to-peer decentralized direct messaging), Blockchain-based Electronic Mail and much more. The best is yet to come. We will continue to work tirelessly to achieve all of our goals. Many thanks for your fantastic support.

SINOVATE releases Star Cradle Public Testnet Wallet and Guides

The SINOVATE (SIN) Star Cradle Public Testnet, which marks the final stage before the AURORA Mainnet release is now live. Testing will last for two weeks from September 18th, 2020 UTC 00:00 AM to October 2nd, 2020 UTC 00:00 AM, permitting Deterministic Infinity Node 1.0 (DIN) functionality to be experienced for the first time. The Star Cradle Public Testnet Wallet 0.9.0 RC1 is available to download here. The official AURORA Mainnet release date will be announced during testnet.

Further details, including guides on how to set up a testnet wallet, DIN Node, and a testnet Deterministic Infinity Node 1-click using the in-wallet SINOVATE setUP function are available here. Additional information on the multitude of advantages that DIN 1.0 will provide over the existing SINOVATE protocol can be found here.

The testnet phase is an imperative measure being taken to ensure that the DIN 1.0 codebase functions flawlessly prior to the official release. SINOVATE aims to redefine the blockchain space, and DIN 1.0 supports us in our journey to achieve this. Stay tuned for further developments as and when they happen via our discord and telegram channels. Thank you for your brilliant support.

SINOVATE: Blockchain Data Storage and Infinity Nodes with Proof-of-Burn Review released

Many thanks to Satoshi Sean for his fantastic review of the SINOVATE project. Sean provides a thorough analysis of our upcoming cloud data storage solution Incorruptible Data Storage (IDS), as well as the masternode enhanced Infinity Nodes. Details are given on how infinity nodes function, collateral requirements and node tiers, potential return on investment, and how the custom-created Infinity Nodes 1.0 will differ from all other masternode offerings.

An explanation is also provided on our Proof-of-Burn reward algorithm, and the essential role this plays for continuous network stability and security currently as well as latterly for IDS cloud. Watch the blockchain data storage and infinity node review here.

Assessing SINOVATE Inflation article published

Learn about the coin economics for SINOVATE, and how to perfectly time your investment to enable maximum returns. This article also describes how the coin burning of transaction fees and Infinity Node collateral plays an integral role in controlling inflation and maintaining value per SIN coin, with network participants benefiting from a limited circulating supply.

Furthermore, our upcoming Incorruptible Data Storage (IDS) facility is mentioned as having a positive compounding effect for all investors once implemented, as the total SIN coins supply will decrease annually. Many thanks to Jonathan Leesfor this brilliant write-up.

SINOVATE HODL Coin Offering Governance Proposal accepted

The SINOVATE HODL Coin Offering (H.C.O.) Governance Proposal, which for a limited time will permit inexperienced users to earn SIN coins without having to set up an infinity node and purchase a VPS, has been accepted by the SIN community.

The H.C.O. incentive program will swiftly commence after implementation of the upcoming network upgrade and will remain active for 75-days, starting at hardfork block height. SIN coins must be locked during this period in order to qualify. HODL Coin earnings will be available in three (3% yearly and 0.25% monthly), six (6% yearly and 0.5% monthly), and twelve-month (15% yearly and 1.25% monthly) intervals.

Furthermore, our proposal to increase MINI Node Tier rewards from 160 SIN to 560 SIN per block after the network upgrade was also accepted. As well as substantially increasing earning capabilities for MINI Node holders, this will also enable significantly more nodes to join the SIN network for future Incorruptible Data Storage (I.D.S.) needs. Click here for further details.

As shown below, the SINOVATE community unanimously voted in favor of the above proposals via our discord channel:

SINOVATE AMA: Live on Zoom

The first SINOVATE AMA live on Zoom was an outstanding success. Hundreds of SIN community members were out in force to ask our team questions on all things SIN, including the following:

  • What is an Infinity Node? How is it different from a conventional masternode?
  • What is the primary use-case of SINOVATE? What are the plans for the future?
  • What are the roles of the tiers in the IDS or data storage model of SINOVATE?
  • SIN messenger direct messaging, how does it work?
  • How do you describe the SINOVATE Economy and Business Model?
  • Why is the actual ROI of nodes so low? Aren’t you afraid that it could go under 100% someday?
  • In a world with so many big players in cloud storage, like Amazon, Google, Azure, which will be our steps to attract customers?
  • What are your plans for marketing?
  • Why was ShadowSend removed?

In-depth responses were provided for all of the above and more. Operating Officer, Community Leader, and investor Tamer Dagli also dropped in an exciting teaser regarding a major exchange listing, which will be announced in July. In case you missed it or would like to watch it again, the SINOVATE AMA can be viewed here. Many thanks for tuning in!
