ANNOUNCEMENTS & PARTNERSHIPS

SINOVATE successfully implements Hard Fork and reimburses missing rewards

The MINI Infinity Node Tier Hard Fork was successful. A Mandatory Wallet Upgrade was released, where PC and infinity node wallets had to be updated prior to block height 617,000 in order to continue receiving rewards, following the recent MINI Node reward generation issue.

The SINOVATE team was made aware of a reward generation issue specific to the MINI Infinity Node Tier at block height 583,500 to 617,000, where nodes created after the 1000th were not receiving rewards consistently. 71 Mini Nodes were affected in all. The impacted network participants were users that created a MINI Node between 09.01.2021 and 24.02.21. Node limits have now been removed, presenting current and would-be network participants with enhanced opportunities to benefit from the SINOVATE network as it continues to grow in strength, security, and value.

As of 10/03/2021, all associated missing rewards have been reimbursed. For further details on the nature of this problem, how this was resolved to ensure continuous rewards throughout the 12-month node life cycle, and how superior performance will always be maintained, click here.

As of 31.12.2020 around 50% of the first rewards have been sent, with the remainder being paid after block 604, 000. All other rewards will be received in monthly intervals for 12 months in total. SINOVATE Community Governance Proposal

Prior to announcing our 2021 roadmap, SINOVATE is conducting a community governance proposal to decrease the total number and associated rewards for upcoming BIG and MID Deterministic Infinity Nodes. There are currently almost 400 BIG and MID nodes, with 1752 SIN and 838 SIN received by BIG and MID SIN Nodes. The purpose of this community vote is to propose the reduction of BIG rewards to 1250 SIN and MID rewards to 650 SIN, bringing these tiers close to 300 nodes each.

Click here for the reasons for this proposal and all that it entails. As always, regardless of the outcome, SINOVATE will only proceed as the majority decides. Your vote counts. Help to shape our future, and join us on our journey to create greater equality, wealth, and world-class decentralized cloud data storage for all.

FLITS Hosted Service: Official SINOVATE Statement

As you may be aware prior to the SINOVATE AURORA Mainnet in November, the Flits project encountered an issue in setting up infinity nodes on their application. This error resulted in the loss of all infinity nodes hosted on Flits. SINOVATE endeavored to work with the Flits team to find a solution so that impacted node owners would be fully reimbursed but to no avail.

Negotiations failed between SINOVATE and Flits; both companies decided to initiate independent compensation plans. SINOVATE aims to support as many affected members as possible, while also encouraging these members to use Flits’ compensation plan to ensure that minimal losses are incurred. If you have been impacted by this issue, please fill out this form carefully, as we will use this information to send your compensation. Please only use the original Collateral Node Address, as we will not forward any compensation without this.

As soon as we receive the full list of impacted nodes the forms will be processed. Flits users will be compensated by block 866,800 as described here. Please ensure that all information provided is correct. This form will close on 01.03.2021. Please share the form with other Flits users. Thank you for your fantastic support.

SINOVATE Monthly Report: November 2020

SINOVATE (SIN) experienced an exciting November packed with substantial development activity and exciting announcements. The highly anticipated AURORA Mainnet and Deterministic Infinity Node (DIN) 1.0 integration is now live, marking the successful transition from the Dash legacy masternode code previously implemented by infinity nodes to the first of its kind, superior Deterministic Infinity Nodes DIN codebase. Greater rewards for MINI Node owners, a substantially increased number of nodes, stability, security, enhanced economic prosperity, and much more are now available to network participants.

Tune into our discord and telegram channels for further details on AURORA and all other exciting new announcements. Please stay at home, follow the rules, and most importantly stay safe.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & PARTNERSHIPS

SINOVATE website in Chinese goes live

The recently redesigned SINOVATE website is now available in Chinese. Smooth, stylish, and beautifully designed, our new website enables total ease of navigation and rapid access to all aspects of our project. Stay tuned for further announcements as and when they happen via our discord and telegram channels.

SINOVATE AURORA Mainnet article goes live

The SINOVATE AURORA mainnet upgrade is now live. Block height 550, 000 initiated on 21st November 2020, marking the transition from existing masternode enhanced infinity nodes to pure Deterministic Infinity Nodes (DIN) 1.0, created and entirely built by the SINOVATE development team.

Updating to the AURORA Mainnet Wallet is mandatory for infinity node owners, in order to be compatible with our brand new DIN codebase and to continue receiving rewards. For further details on the AURORA mainnet upgrade including what makes DIN so special, why MINI Node rewards have significantly increased, SINOVATE setUP implementation and more, click here. Please follow these instructions to migrate your infinity node to DIN. SINOVATE setUP users must follow this guide for ease of migration to our new codebase.

HODL Coin Offering campaign goes live

The SINOVATE HODL Coin Offering (HCO) is now live. For a limited time (75 days from November 22nd), community members can earn up to 15% over 12 months for holding coins within their native wallets. The HCO marketing campaign provides a low-entry alternative to hosting infinity nodes, permitting participants everywhere to benefit from joining the SINOVATE network. Click here for further details.

FLITS Hosted Service: Official SINOVATE Statement

It recently came to light that the mobile node hosting provider Flits did not comply with guidelines provided by the SINOVATE team, resulting in the incorrect implementation of the coin burning procedure. This caused a total of 172 infinity nodes to be created erroneously, meaning impacted nodes were unable to migrate to the recently launched Deterministic Infinity Nodes 1.0 (DIN) platform and have been lost forever.

As a direct consequence of Flits choosing their own method to make nodes, irreversible issues were created that are impossible to resolve, which was not due to a bug in SINOVATE’s code.

SINOVATE has taken action and presented its own solutions, in order to aid the recovery of lost funds the best we can. These include a 30% lost rewards reimbursement plan, a community crowdfunding round, and 12-month free hosting to all infinity node owners using the Flits application. For all the facts as and when they happened, click here. While this situation was unfortunately out of our own hands, we will endeavor to ensure that similar issues never materialize. The SINOVATE team is infinitely sorry for end-users using Flits to make their nodes.

SINOVATE 1-Click in-wallet Node setUP explainer video released

Setting up an infinity node just became a whole lot easier, thanks to the SINOVATE 1-Click in-wallet Node setUP. Setting up an infinity node can prove to be a daunting prospect, especially with no previous experience of masternodes or the Linux operating system.

With this in mind, the SINOVATE development team has designed a seamless and user-friendly Virtual private Server (VPS) hosting service, which at only $2.99 per month (annual plan cost with SIN only payment) provides cost-effective advantages over existing providers instantly. SINOVATE setUP’s advantages over existing VPS services also include 100% guaranteed uptime, 9 datacentres dispersed around the globe for complete decentralization, and total ownership of your private keys and SIN coins. Check out this fantastic explainer video for further details. Create your SIN node via the 1-Click in-wallet Node setUP feature today.
